SUMMER (December – February)

The official start of summer in Perth is December, finishing three months later at the end of February. The summer months are hot with an average temperature of 29 degrees Celsius during the day, and 17 degrees celsius at night. In the afternoons a sea breeze called the ‘Fremantle Doctor' provides some relief from the heat.



AUTUMN (March – May) 

Autumn begins in March and finishes at the end of May, although autumn in Perth is not typical of autumn’s most people would be familiar with. Autumn in Perth is like an extension of summer, or perhaps a second spring. During autumn Perth experiences warm, sunny days and cooler nights with average temperatures between 13.7 - 26°C.
