BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION

Our Building and Construction courses te students will learn about how to manage projects both on site and in the office, the students will potentially be able to pursue roles such as project supervisor, building manager, site supervisor, estimator, project manager and foreperson. 

 

 

 

CERTIFICATE IV IN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION
INTAKE:Jan - Mar - April - June - July - Sep - Oct - Dec
DURATION:1 year
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Each Provider has their own requirements. The most common requirements are:

- English Proficiency test IELTS 5.5 or Upper-intermediate. 

- Minimum age usually 18 years.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:In this course the students will gain leadership and management skills to coordinate industry subcontractors and run their own business. 

 

 

 

DIPLOMA OF BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION
INTAKE:Jan - Mar - April - June - July - Sep - Oct - Dec
DURATION:1 year
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Each Provider has their own requirements. The most common requirements are:

- English Proficiency test IELTS 5.5 or Upper-intermediate. 

- Minimum age usually 18 years.

- The student must be currently working in the building and construction industry;

LEARNING OUTCOMES:In this course the student will gain skills in tender documentation, structural principles, cost estimations, hiring of contracts and much more for both commercial buildings and medium-rise residential projects.
